We dug in this weekend...well actually Tom started by emptying the pantry & removing the old baseboards in the kitchen. WOOHOO!!! So, it got me feeling guilty that my efforts were minimal, to say the least.
This afternoon I started emptying the spice cabinet and was nearly done when I found the car registration which was due tomorrow & needed a SMOG certificate. So, I went to Auburn to get that out of the way & avoid the ginormous penalty, but came home to the spices all over the kitchen, got out the vacuum, then stripped the old shelf liner off. I'm thinking of painting the inside of the cupboards with that poly paint stuff for ease of maintenance. (?)
I thought I'd let you all know that I had at least begun, especially after your cheering me on!!!
And, so it begins.

exciting!! that paint stuff sounds cool...that would be nice! it would be great to help keep it clean...i hate cleaning cupboards. glad you remembered the smog!
